Crowd favorite isn’t always the winner…that’s why there’s judges. When the level is this high on both sides it’s takes high skilled judge to see where the edge is to win. Neither one ☝️ f these dancers are “perfect”. Nobody is. They both have areas to improve on. So it’s the judges opinion on this art to decide which one is missing “less” or has the “more important” aspect of the dance. MT has the illusions and cleanliness that usually general audiences connect to. Ness has a higher dance and funk level. More 3D and abstract angles…which usually advanced dancers and judges prefer. So I see why Ness won. It’s not robbery. It’s subtlety. Minor differences that separate the two.

Soraki is probably my favourite dancer, but he kinda lost the groove midway through. He had some technically impressive moves, but Sydney matched the song way way better
